Who We Are

Our website address is https://eclinicassist.com.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information provided in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string (hash) from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. You can view the Gravatar service’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors may be able to download and extract this data from your uploaded images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter your details next time. These cookies will last for one year.

When visiting our login page, a temporary cookie will be set to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

After logging in, we set several cookies to store your login info and screen preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen settings cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will remain active for two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data—just the post ID of the edited article—and expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if the visitor has visited the source website directly.

These third-party websites may collect your data, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, especially if you are logged into an account on their platform.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes.

How Long Do We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of moderating them manually.

For registered users (if any), we store the personal information provided in their profiles. Users can view, edit, or delete their information at any time, except for their username. Website administrators can also access and update this information.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your data. You may also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This excludes data we’re required to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be filtered through an automated spam detection system.
